The sister of Haim Guri the Poet
Beginning in the 1960s with dance and
ceramic arts,
Zohar later studied for a doctorate in education in
acquiring science principles for toddlers and youth.
Her "
western raku" Ceramics style
tends to be vibrant in colors, and the amount of
Oxygen
that she allowed during the firing and
cooling process affects the resulting color of
the glaze and the amount of crackles.
Signed by engraving on the back: "ZOHAR" - "ISRAEL"
Undated: 1960s'
Sizes: ~ 23 cm. length, 16.4 cm. high. and 5.5 depth.
Condition: Very Fine. The crackles and dotes on the
glaze,
came
from the ceramics RAKU process - read above.
