    Description

    This is an excellent stamp. It is a Scott #255, unwatermarked, 5 cent, Chocolate, single from the 1894 Regular Issue.
    It is a VF-XF, mint, o.g., hinged example of a desirable stamp that comes with a copy of an ungraded 2011 PSE certificate stating that “…it is a genuine, o.g., hinged top margin Plate No. 161 and imprint strip of three (the center stamp never hinged).” This is the right stamp in the strip of 3 –
    it has a hinge remnant
