Menorah (missing the Shamosh candle holder)
Made in Israel / Palestine circa 1940s by Oppenheim
Heavy and solid
lovely Menorah, made from copper, with dark finish. The wavy top design is
Inscribed under the candlesticks in Hebrew "Ha'Nerot Halalu Kodesh Hem" (These candles are Holy). At the center is a medal design of the Olive oil Jar from the miracle of Hanukkah the story of the Maccabees in the Temple in Jerusalem, and written in Ancient Hebrew script : Le'Herut Yerushalem ????? ?????? - For the freedom of Jerusalem (See picture of an ancient coin from the Maccabees rebel times, showing the seven kinds of Israel and the same writing , slightly scrambled)

: This Menorah is in fairly good used condition. Finish is partly faded with nice green and red patina spots, the candlesticks are not straight and
missing the Shamosh
- servant light candlestick, that was mounted just under the olive oil symbol.
